Form, dose, and seal powder sachets in a single automated system
The Unipak powder sachet machine from Omniprojekt is a fully automatic form-fill-seal system designed for packaging powdered products into self-forming 4-seal bags (sachets). The machine integrates bag forming, auger dosing, sealing, printing, and counting into one compact unit.
Flat laminated film is unwound from dual rolls and thermally welded to form a sachet. Powder is dosed using a servo-driven screw (auger) dispenser, where the dosage is controlled by the rotation angle and speed of the auger, ensuring consistent fill weights even for challenging powders.
The machine operates in simplex (single-lane) or duplex (double-lane) configuration. In duplex mode, output can reach up to 6,000 sachets per hour, making it suitable for high-volume production of small-format packs.
A hopper with controlled product level ensures consistent feeding of powder to the auger system. The process is managed via a PLC with Siemens HMI, while integrated sensor systems monitor all critical machine functions. Remote access capabilities allow for diagnostics and parameter optimisation in line with Industry 4.0 requirements.
The system supports sachet sizes up to 150 × 200 mm, and is suitable for products such as vanilla sugar, baking powder, pharmaceutical powders, and cosmetic powders.
Optional modules such as checkweighing, inkjet printing, metal detection, and easy-open systems can be integrated to enhance quality control, traceability, and usability.
