Manual dispensing system with barcode traceability for liquid compounding
Not all raw materials can be handled through automated dosing systems, requiring controlled manual addition while maintaining full traceability and batch accuracy.
Ensure accurate manual weighing with barcode-controlled dispensing
The Vanwyk Manual Dispense System (MDS) is designed to support controlled manual dosing of ingredients that are not integrated into automated dispensing lines. The system combines a digital scale, industrial PC, and barcode reader to guide operators through each weighing step while ensuring full batch traceability.
Operators are instructed via the interface on the exact quantities to weigh, while barcode scanning verifies order numbers, material codes, and lot information before each addition. This ensures that every manual dosing step is recorded and validated, reducing the risk of human error and ensuring compliance with traceability requirements.
All process data, including weights, timestamps, and lot numbers, are automatically stored in the central Camelot system, enabling full batch documentation and auditability.
The system is available in desktop, industrial, and mobile configurations, allowing flexible integration into different production environments. ATEX-compliant versions are available for operation in hazardous areas, supporting safe handling of sensitive or volatile materials.
