The Universal Compact Sampler (UCS) from Vanwyk is designed for automated preparation of liquid samples in the range of 20 grams up to 1.5 kg. The system combines ingredient storage, dosing, and sample handling in one compact unit, enabling fast and reproducible formulation in laboratory environments.
Ingredients are stored in integrated containers under controlled conditions and dispensed through capillary nozzles, allowing dosing with milligram-level accuracy. The system can handle up to 150 components per module and can be expanded with additional modules depending on the number of ingredients required.
A buffered handling system allows multiple sample containers to be processed with minimal operator intervention, supporting semi- or fully unattended operation. Barcode identification ensures full traceability of orders, components, and lot numbers throughout the compounding process.
The enclosed system design ensures safe operation, preventing exposure and stopping automatically when opened. Additional features such as nitrogen pressurized storage and drip management support product stability and clean processing.
