High-Speed Thermoforming Blister Packaging Machine for Pharmaceutical Production
When blister packaging lines operate at very high throughput, the blister machine must maintain stable forming and sealing cycles while handling multiple product formats. A high-speed thermoforming blister system helps maintain consistent output across large pharmaceutical production volumes.
Produce pharmaceutical blister packs at high production speeds
The Velocity blister packaging machine from Accupack Engineering is a high-speed thermoforming blister machine developed for pharmaceutical packaging lines with large production volumes. The system forms, fills, seals, and cuts blister packs in a continuous automated process designed to maintain stable output at high speeds.
Blisters are produced from standard pharmaceutical forming films such as PVC, PVC/PVDC, duplex and triplex laminates, PVC/Aclar and PP materials. The sealing station applies consistent pressure across the blister surface to maintain package integrity and protect moisture-sensitive pharmaceutical products.
The machine integrates easily with upstream tablet or capsule feeding systems and downstream cartoners, allowing the blister packaging line to operate as a continuous pharmaceutical packaging process. High-speed indexing and servo-driven transport ensure repeatable forming and sealing cycles while maintaining precise blister cavity alignment.
The system is designed with an operator-friendly layout and a compact footprint for integration into pharmaceutical packaging environments. Tool-less format changeover allows operators to switch between different blister layouts efficiently, which is particularly important in pharmaceutical facilities producing multiple product formats.
With its high output capability and automated operation, the Velocity machine is suited for pharmaceutical manufacturers running large-scale blister packaging lines.
