High-Speed Servo Blister Packaging Machine for Tablets and Capsules
When you package pharmaceutical tablets or capsules in blister packs, forming accuracy, sealing consistency, and high output are critical to maintain product protection and line efficiency. A fully servo-driven blister machine helps you maintain stable production while supporting frequent format changes.
Form, fill and seal pharmaceutical blisters at high speed
The Victory blister packaging machine from Accupack Engineering is a fully servo-driven thermoforming system designed for high-speed pharmaceutical blister production. The machine operates in a double-lane configuration and can reach outputs of up to 400 blisters per minute, making it suitable for medium-to-high volume tablet and capsule packaging lines.
Blisters are produced using a platen sealing principle, which provides uniform sealing pressure across the entire blister cavity. This supports consistent package integrity for sensitive pharmaceutical products. The forming station supports blister depths of up to 12 mm, allowing the machine to process a range of tablet sizes and capsule formats.
The machine is compatible with common pharmaceutical thermoforming materials including PVC, PVC/PVDC, PVC/Aclar, duplex and triplex laminates, as well as PP films. Lidding materials include hard aluminium foil, soft aluminium foil, CR foil and laminated paper, enabling both standard and child-resistant packaging formats.
With a maximum blister pack length of 252 mm and a maximum width of 90 mm, the machine can process multiple blister layouts within a single tool set. The servo-driven transport system allows accurate indexing and repeatable forming cycles of up to 50 forming cycles per minute, while the cutting system can reach 200 strokes per minute depending on format.
Designed with a compact footprint, the machine integrates easily into pharmaceutical packaging lines and can be connected downstream with cartoners and track-and-trace systems. Tool-less format change and remote service capability reduce downtime and support faster product changeovers in multi-product production environments.
