The GP 44 packaging machine from Effytec is a vertical form fill seal system designed for large-format pouch packaging. The machine operates in a duplex configuration, allowing two pouches to be formed, filled, and sealed simultaneously to increase packaging output.
The system can achieve production speeds of up to 100 pouches per minute, depending on pouch dimensions and product characteristics. The machine forms pouches from roll film, fills them with liquid or semi-liquid products, seals the packs, and cuts them to final dimensions.
The GP 44 is used for larger flexible packaging formats such as family-size pouches for food products, liquid detergents, and other consumer goods. Servo-controlled film transport ensures consistent pouch alignment and sealing conditions during production.
