The Galaxy 200 cartoning machine from Accupack Engineering is a continuous motion horizontal cartoner designed for high-speed pharmaceutical and consumer goods packaging lines. The system can reach production speeds of up to 200 cartons per minute, allowing it to match high-output blister packaging machines or bottle filling lines.
The machine handles a wide range of packaged products including blister packs, bottles, tubes, vials, trays, and ampoules. Products arriving from upstream packaging equipment are transferred into cartons while the machine runs in continuous motion, eliminating start-stop movements and improving overall packaging efficiency.
Cartons are automatically erected, loaded, and closed within the same machine frame. The cartoning process supports tuck-in or hotmelt sealing, enabling the machine to accommodate different carton closure requirements. The system is designed with an ergonomic layout and compact footprint to integrate easily into existing packaging lines.
The cartoner also includes tool-less format changeover and operator-friendly controls to simplify product changeovers in multi-product environments. This flexibility is particularly useful in pharmaceutical production facilities where packaging formats change frequently between different SKUs.
