Cobot Bucket Box Module for Automated Box Packing

When you pack buckets, tubs or handled containers at scale, a cobot-driven module helps you standardise throughput, reduce repetitive labour and handle packaging variations with minimal changeover.

Picks and places buckets into boxes automatically

The Cobot Bucket Box Module from Van Made is an automated packing station that uses a collaborative robot to load buckets, tubs or round containers directly into shipping boxes. The cell is designed around a compact steel frame, with integrated conveyors, a guided product infeed and a cobot picking tool optimized for gripping handled or lidded containers. This makes it suitable for both food and non-food applications where ergonomic manual packing is a bottleneck.

The cobot performs controlled pick-and-place cycles while maintaining safe speeds for operator interaction. Quick-change grippers allow handling of different bucket diameters and weights. The system can include automatic box forming, bottom taping, top sealing and coordinated outfeed, creating a complete packing module with minimal footprint.

Programming via an intuitive interface allows operators to adjust recipes or patterns without robotics expertise. The open-frame design ensures easy cleaning and access for maintenance. With optional safety scanners, the Cobot Bucket Box Module can operate in hybrid environments where workers load products upstream while the cobot manages precise packing.
