The Sample Powder Dispenser (SPD) from Vanwyk is a compact dispensing system designed for accurate dosing of powders and crystalline materials in laboratory and small-scale production environments. The system enables automated, weight-based dispensing with high precision, supporting consistent formulation results.

The unit operates using a silo-based system, where ingredients are stored in dedicated containers and automatically positioned for dosing through a pick-and-place mechanism. Material is dispensed onto a high-precision scale, allowing accurate control of small quantities, even for challenging powder properties.

The system can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into the High-Capacity Sample Dispenser (HCSD), using the same transport system for synchronized liquid and powder dosing. This enables combined formulations within one automated workflow.

The enclosed design ensures safe operation and prevents contamination, while nitrogen-based storage options support product stability. The modular setup allows expansion in the number of silos and adapts to changing formulation requirements.
