The Gansons GansCoater is a high-performance tablet coating system designed for pharmaceutical production environments requiring consistent coating quality and regulatory compliance. The system supports a wide range of coating applications including film coating, enteric coating, multi-layer functional coating, and sugar coating.
The coating process is optimized through a combination of proprietary spray nozzles, controlled air handling, and engineered mixing dynamics inside the coating pan. The GHPN spray nozzles generate uniform droplet size with wide coverage, reducing spray losses and compressed air consumption while maintaining consistent coating distribution.
The coating drum is designed with a highly polished surface and optimized perforation geometry to improve drying efficiency and reduce tablet abrasion. Aeroflo baffles enhance tablet movement and airflow interaction, eliminating dead zones and improving mixing performance and coating uniformity.
The system supports fast changeovers through interchangeable coating pans and automated loading and unloading. Integrated process control with PLC or SCADA systems ensures reproducible operation, recipe management, and compliance with regulatory standards such as 21 CFR Part 11.
