Vacuum Mixer Homogenizer for Creams, Liquids and Viscous Products
When producing creams, gels, and viscous formulations, consistent texture, stability, and temperature control depend on controlled mixing under vacuum. A mixer homogenizer combines agitation, shear, and thermal control to ensure uniform product quality before filling or packaging.
Mix, disperse, and homogenize under vacuum with integrated heating and cooling
The mixer homogenizer from Omniprojekt is a compact processing system designed for vacuum mixing, dispersion, and homogenization of liquid to pasty products in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food applications.
At the core of the system is a double-walled (jacketed) vessel, enabling precise heating, temperature regulation, and cooling. This allows you to process temperature-sensitive formulations such as creams, ointments, and emulsions while maintaining full control over viscosity and structure.
Mixing is performed using a combination of:
- Central agitators for bulk mixing
- Anchor or ram-type mixers for high-viscosity materials
- High-speed colloid mill (≈ 2,800 rpm) for fine dispersion and homogenization
The system operates under vacuum conditions, preventing air entrapment and improving product stability, texture, and shelf life. This is particularly relevant for emulsions and cosmetic formulations where air inclusion negatively affects quality.
Available in capacities from 15 to 120 liters, the machine supports both laboratory-scale development (MH15) and industrial batch production (MH60 / MH120). The smallest unit enables process validation and recipe development before scaling up.
All product-contact parts are made from AISI 316L stainless steel, while the supporting structure uses AISI 304, ensuring compliance with hygiene and corrosion-resistance requirements. The system is controlled via inverter-driven motors and integrated process controls for repeatable operation.
The vessel can be emptied via a bottom discharge valve, and the electro-hydraulic lifting lid allows full access for cleaning and maintenance.
